I’ll be honest: I don’t know how to keep my front closet organized. Of all the places in my house, this one catches me up the most and is a constant pain-point for the cleanliness of my house.
I have more before-and-after pictures of this tiny closet than I’d care to admit. Also more blog drafts written including it than any other area in my house.
I don’t know what it is. I try hard to have a place for everything and everything in its place.
But I also have people. Five of them. And somehow we each have somewhere between 4-10 pairs of shoes in this closet.
While my systems seem good, I am just now (as I’m writing this) wising up to the fact that I have nearly 40 pairs of shoes to put into their designated spaces.
No wonder this closet drives me crazy!
How often do we find ourselves so deep in situation with no recollection of how we got there! As if the shoes just appeared out of nowhere!
